Join wind band Pulse8 and Southampton Youth Percussion (SYP) in a joint concert at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College.

This concert is free entry, there will be a retiring collection for Friends of Southampton Youth Orchestra.

Southampton Youth Brass Band (SYBB) and Fusion Brass will be performing in the Brass Bands Christmas Concert at Chandlers Ford Methodist Church. They will also be joined by Southampton Youth Percussion (SYP).

Tickets: £8 adults, £6 students & £1 under 5’s by reservation through music@southampton.gov.uk

Free Percussion Taster Session

A free workshop for new, and aspiring, percussion players — tuned and untuned — interested in making music with others.

This workshop is aimed at children in year two and above who are interested in exploring the range of percussion that is available, whether they already have music lessons or are a complete beginner. A pair of drumsticks will be useful but not essential.
